In recent years, Hirvaskangas has grown into one of the most important transportation business centers in Äänekoski.
As a location, Hirvaskangas is optimal, it is located at the intersection of Nelostie and 69-tie along almost all of Finland's most important transport routes. Hirvaskanka is 3,5 hours from Helsinki and Oulu, 39 minutes from Jyväskylä and 15 minutes from Tikkakoski airport.
