Learning support

Problems related to the student's learning and going to school are tried to be identified at an early stage. If, for some reason, the student has problems with going to school or learning, we try to intervene at an early stage, so that support measures can be started as soon as possible.
When problems arise, the school's own support measures are always primarily used, for example differentiation of teaching, remedial teaching, flexible groupings, support from the guidance counselor or teaching given by the school's special education teacher during lessons.
Support is divided into general, enhanced and special support. General support is part of all education, teaching and guidance. The teacher evaluates and gives feedback on the development and progress of his students, observes the needs for support and plans the teaching and learning environment as well as possible support measures. The basis is the utilization of the resources of the entire teaching group and the interaction between the students. As the need for support increases, the student must receive enhanced support.
Enhanced support is more continuous, stronger and more individualized support for the general support of the student's learning and going to school. In this case, the student may also need several forms of support at the same time. Enhanced support is given to the student in accordance with the written learning plan. The curriculum is drawn up together with the guardian and other possible parties, such as a special education teacher and student care staff.
Special support consists of special education and other support. An administrative decision is made on granting special support. A personal plan for the organization of teaching HOJKS is drawn up for the student, which must state how the teaching and other support according to the decision on special support will be organized.
The aim is to provide different levels of support mainly in the pupil's local school and in the general education class. The aim is to find the best suitable study place for the student together with the student care staff and the guardian. The primary goal is that the student could, if possible, go to school in his own neighborhood school.
