Self-employed hours

The library is open separately during customer service hours, when the staff is present, and also during extended self-service hours without staff. With self-service time, you can freely spend time in the library and you can borrow material on your own using the loan machine. If there are problems using the machine, the staff can be called to help.

Slim hall

Hoikkassali is an exhibition space managed by the Äänekoski Cultural Center on the ground floor of the main library. The hall hosts exhibitions by art professionals and enthusiasts throughout the year. The library's public events are also organized there. Booking and using the facilities is free of charge. The playing practice room of the main library is located in the basement of the library building in connection with the music department. You can also use your own acoustic instruments. Search, reservations and personal loans

Materials can be ordered with a free reservation from any library in your municipality or from Keski library to the nearest library. You can make a reservation in the online library (you need a Keski library card and PIN code) or ask the staff to make one
