Integration services
The integration services of the city of Äänekoski provide general guidance and counseling services as well as initial integration guidance for quota refugees and those with a municipal place of residence. The employees are also involved in various networks and in the development of services, so that the community's services are accessible to all citizens.

Multilingual social orientation is an education intended for immigrants, the aim of which is to introduce a person to the activities of Finnish society in their own mother tongue (or another language they know well). Multilingual social orientation includes discussion and strengthens immigrants' understanding of Finnish society and their own rights and responsibilities. - Integration training
- Network work with parties involved in integration

- quota refugees
- asylum seekers who received a municipal place
- persons covered by temporary protection come to the municipality
- who moved from other parts of Finland during the integration period
Social services have moved to the welfare region of Central Finland.
