Benefit package for a new resident
Those who have moved to Äänekoski are entitled to the benefits of a new resident. In addition to the traditional benefits, the Ämpäreittäin ääää äääää campaign, aimed at those moving to Äänekoski, offers a high-quality boiler plate made by Jokipiin Pellava with Äänekoski patterns.
The movers receive a traditional new resident benefits package, which includes:

- Two free tickets to the city's swimming hall and the art museum.
- Those under 15 get an additional benefit of a 50 euro gift card, which is intended to support the hobby. The gift card can be used for seasonal or course fees of local e.g. sports clubs, music school or Koskela settlement.
To receive the benefits, you must fill out the new resident form (below). It is enough for one adult in the family to fill in the information of all family members in the form. The information on the form will still be checked by the Population Register Center.
