Rental of boat berths and keys

A boat berth is reserved and paid for in the reservation service as an online payment. For this you need online banking credentials. The reservation takes effect immediately and is valid until further notice.

Those who rented a boat berth in the previous season will automatically receive a new reservation and online payment link in the e-mail they notified at the beginning of February. By paying for the place again by the end of March, the previous season's reservation will continue to be valid until further notice.

Picking up and returning the keys to the Äänekoski and Suolahti piers must be arranged in advance venepaikat@aanekoski.fi or mooring phone: 040 658 1246 (calling times Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am to 11 am).

Fuel sales

The city of Äänekoski sells fuel (petrol and diesel) in three ports:

  • In the port of Äänekoski or Mustaniemi
  • In the port of Suolahti
  • With Matilan current

In the summer of 2024, gasoline is now available with card payment!

The aim is to ensure the sufficiency of fuel in the tanks with a new electronic system. The city of Äänekoski monitors the condition of the fuel tanks electronically, and the system notifies when the fuel tank needs to be topped up, in which case the tank is filled again. Any observations and deficiencies are requested to be reported to trainee engineer Tuomo Kaipio, 040 673 9601, tuomo.kaipio@aanekoski.fi or the city feedback servicethrough. Thanks!

Boat berths and services

You can also take a boat to Äänekoski, next to the services of the city center, to the pier located below the town hall. Note The underpass height of the Häränvirta bridge is 5 m.

There are boat berths in the harbors as follows:

  • Äänekoski: 385 pcs
  • Suolahti: 113 pcs
  • Sumiainen: 50 pcs
  • Kong fabric: 36 pcs

The free water distribution points available in summer are: Äänekoski port, Suolahti port and Sumiainen port.

In addition to the harbors, there are diving ramps in Ruotinkylä and along highway 4 at the Mämme rest area (Keitele, 5 km north of Äänekoski). Our beaches have several landing spots for water sports.

In Keitele, a few kilometers from the harbor, Rekolahti is located, which has a campfire site, toilet and waste collection. The wonderful sandy beach of Rekolahti can be reached by a larger boat, and you can also stay there in a log cabin.

In Konginkanka, the beach spots equipped in the northern part of the city are Iso-Mäntysaari and Viukari, where you can also enjoy a sauna.
