Zoning review
The Regional Use Act obliges the municipality to prepare a zoning review at least once a year (Section 7 of the Regional Use Act).
The Äänekoski city's zoning overview presents the city's zoning program and its content for the next few years. The planning program presents the preliminary schedules and primary goals of the planning projects currently underway in the city of Äänekoski and those that will be launched in the near future. The timetables presented by the planning program may change, as not all factors affecting planning projects can be assessed in advance.
One of the goals of the zoning review is to improve the opportunities for municipal residents to participate in and influence zoning and to make zoning familiar.
