Located in connection with the Äänekoski bioproduct factory Metsä Group's Pro Nemus - in the visitor center you can get to know the possibilities of Finnish wood in an experiential and memorable way.

Pro Nemus - "for the forest" - is Metsä Group's visitor center, which opened in Äänekoski in 2018.

The visitor center combines experiential technology, experientiality and the peace of nature. During the visit, you will learn more about the bioeconomy and Metsä Group's operations, history and products. At Pro Nemus, you can see and hear in a concrete way about the versatility of Finnish wood and its transformation into everyday products and innovations.

The city of Äänekoski organizes guided public visits to Pro Nemus every month. Visiting the visitor center is free of charge. Group size no more than 30 people.

Individuals and groups of less than 30 people can register for a public visit by filling out the registration form below. NOTE! Each person's information must be filled in separately, no more than one person's information on the same form.

The minimum age for visitors is seven years. The Pro Nemus visit does not include a factory tour. The visit will take place if there are at least five people registered. Those who have registered will be informed if the visit is cancelled.

If a tour gets cancelled, the registrants will be informed. The visit is free of charge. It is not allowed to fill out one form for many attendees.
