Competition calendar
The competition calendar is a summary of the public procurements known to the city of Äänekoski.
The purpose of the competition calendar is to provide companies in the area with information about the city's future procurements. The tendering calendar provides information on the estimated tendering schedule for various procurements and enables companies in the region to prepare for upcoming tenders.
City public procurement
The city of Äänekoski organizes a tender for its most significant purchases in euro terms. In addition to the tenders presented in the procurement calendar, the city annually conducts simplified tenders within the framework agreements and purchases below the small procurement threshold, which do not require compliance with the tendering procedure.
The city of Äänekoski's procurements are carried out in accordance with the legislation governing procurements by publishing a procurement notice for all national procurements and EU procurements that is openly available to everyone. In the case of small procurements, the procurement notice and requests for tenders can be announced to everyone as an open competition or, alternatively, as an invitation to participate delivered only by e-mail.
Companies can indicate that they want to receive participation invitations regarding small procurements in their email by indicating their contact information and the procurement categories they are interested in on the page Company information register for tenders for public procurement.
The purpose of the tendering calendar is to openly share information about public procurement tenders known to the city. However, procurements are always carried out on the basis of real need, which is why the city may not acquire the procurement object mentioned in the attached tendering calendar, change procurement plans or tender other procurements than those mentioned in the attached calendar.
We update the procurement calendar a few times a year as the information becomes more detailed. The tendering schedule presented is an estimate and the actual tendering time may differ from the one estimated below.
By following the city's HILMA announcements and leaving your company's contact information in our company data register, you will also receive information about the city's tenders to fulfill the suddenly created procurement need. In addition, regarding procurements below the national threshold value, you can register a search watchdog "Äänekoski kapunki" on the website tägvepalvelu.fi, in which case the Search Watchdog will notify the city of small procurements that are tendered through an open procedure.
