Konginkangka daycare center

Konginkankaa kindergarten is located in the center of Konginkankaa, in the middle of beautiful nature and lake scenery and close to services such as youth facilities and a library. The daycare center currently operates in emergency facilities and operations will move to the renovated premises of the Konginkanka school in the fall of 2025. The daycare center organizes early childhood education for children aged 1-6. The preschool group works in connection with the Konginkanka school.

Information about the kindergarten  

Konginkangas is a lovely, small village between open fields and waterways. Konginkanga has one of the most beautiful wooden churches in Finland. Akseli Gallen-Kallela has also immortalized landscapes in his works, and Mikko Niskanen has shot his films on Konginkanga.

There is an old school in the yard of the daycare center, which is used by the home district association. A new children's traffic park will be completed near the school and kindergarten in the summer of 2024.

Cradles is a group of 1-3 year olds. Two early childhood education teachers and an early childhood nanny work in the group.

Rowan trees is a group of 3-6 year olds. An early childhood education teacher and two early childhood educators work in the group.

In preschool two special early childhood education teachers work.

Äänekoski uses an electronic transaction system, CGI Vesa, through which childcare appointments are reserved for children in early childhood education and pre-school education, and the completed childcare appointments are monitored.
