Koulunmäki school's C-building construction weekly bulletins

Plan view of the new school building.
The new C building of Koulunmäki unified school in the city of Äänekoski will be completed in 2025. The 21 million euro investment is in many ways a model example of modern school construction. It will have its own premises for the city's youth services and the Ala-Keitele music college.

In addition to recycling and energy saving, the building's versatility plays an important role. The C building of Koulunmäki school is the first site in Äänekoski for which Rakennustieto's environmental classification has been applied for. The exterior of the building is modern and stylish and uses the latest technology, but the classrooms themselves are very traditional.
