Electronic notification of treatment times

Äänekoski uses an electronic transaction system, CGI Vesa, through which childcare appointments are reserved for children in early childhood education and pre-school education, and the completed childcare appointments are monitored.
Why do you have to report treatment times?
In their own system, early childhood education workers can see care times reported by guardians and the children present at any given time. This affects food orders and the planning and execution of operations. The staff's work shifts are also planned based on the pre-announced treatment times. Changing the treatment times is possible if the staffing according to the Early Childhood Education Act is implemented.
This is how you announce treatment times
The child's care times must be reported electronically to CGI Vesa in time, so that we can ensure a sufficient number of adults in relation to the children present, and ensure the implementation of working time legislation.
Guardians must inform Vesa of their children's care times at the latest one week earlier on Sunday by 23.59:XNUMX p.m. After this, the program is locked, and editing treatment times is no longer possible. When announcing treatment times, you must make a presence or absence mark for each weekday, and for shift care also for weekends and public holidays.
When reporting absence, you must select the reason for absence:
- On leave = The child has a week off
- Absent = The child has a pre-arranged absence, e.g. vacation
- Sick = Absence known in advance due to illness
CGI Vesa is updated and maintained regularly, which may be visible to the user as short outages. If you are unable to log in to Vesa due to an outage, please try again in a few moments. If the problem persists for longer, please contact your child's daycare center for further instructions.
Baby care appointments are booked in Vesa on the Current tab of the Family page. In Vesa, you can view the care hours booked and completed for your child by pressing the "hours tracking" button under the calendar view. If the review shows a minus sign in front of the number of hours, the booked/realized hours have exceeded the scope of early childhood education agreed for the child.
Instructions for reporting treatment times
Guardians choose the extent of early childhood education/supplementary early childhood education needed for the child in weekly hours corresponding to monthly hours. Invoicing is done on the basis of monthly hours, i.e. reserved weekly hours can be equalized within a calendar month to the reserved hour class per month.
The agreement on the scope of early childhood education is made from the beginning of the care relationship or calendar month for a period of at least three months at a time. If the agreed operating time is exceeded, the relevant month will be billed according to the next payment category, and a new agreement and decision will be made based on the actual operating time for a period of three months. The contract is drawn up with the early childhood education staff or the family daycare supervisor. If the realized hours are exceeded due to unexpected changes due to work or study, the care facility must be notified immediately, from where the information goes to the family service office (invoicing).
If electronic reporting of care times is not technically possible, contact the early childhood education center or the family service office.
Sudden absences of the child
If there are sudden changes to the care times, for example if the child gets sick or the need for care times changes, the child's place of care should be contacted. We need information on the matter as soon as the child gets sick or at the latest in the morning with a message/phone call to the children's group!
Sudden absences cannot be reported through Vesa, because the week is already locked after the deadline has passed.
