Change and expansion of Sirkkaharju's site plan

The aim of the project is to change the current site plan and expand the industrial area and increase the amount of building rights to meet future growth goals and long-term development of operations. With the growth goals, the plan will address safe traffic arrangements on main road 69 (Suonenjoentie), connecting road 642 (Äänekoskentie) and the rail network. The goal of the planning work is to improve the underpass connections under the main road 69, in which case the level crossing of the freight train line on the main road 69 could be removed and the rail connection ends on the south side of the main road. Necessary underpass possibilities and light traffic connections are considered in connection with planning. The station layout project will be launched at the initiative of Valtra Oy Ab.
