Sound fair

The Äänekoski Fair will be held in and around Pankkari on 23-24.5.2025 May 10, on Friday from 18 am to 10 pm and on Saturday from 16 am to 24.5 pm. The fair will culminate on Saturday XNUMX May with a free concert by Pehmoaino. The city of Äänekoski and the entrepreneurship education staff are responsible for organizing the fair. The proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the youth of Äänekoski.

The fair's program is diverse. At the end of the fair, Pehmoaino will perform on Saturday, May 24.5th in the afternoon in the courtyard of the Bank in a free concert organized by the city's cultural department.

Äänemessut is a general fair that is conceived and organized by young people. The ideas and skills of young people are strongly reflected in the event and its implementation. The whole town supports the young people in the implementation of the event. Admission to the fair is free.

The city of Äänekoski and the high school actively and courageously seek new innovations and solutions for the development of entrepreneurship education together. Äänemessut is one realization and an example of it. Ääneksoki is a city of young people!

Last spring, the 2024 Äänemessu fair attracted around a hundred exhibitors and thousands of visitors from Äänekoski and surrounding municipalities. The fair also provided a marketing platform for the city's young summer entrepreneurs, who presented their services and products at the fair. Youth bands also performed at the fair.

The price list for the fairgrounds has been published and sales of places are now underway. By purchasing a fairgrounds space, you support the youth of the city of Äänekoski.

Early childhood education and preschool education

There are nine daycare centers in Äänekoski with full-day care groups for children aged 1-3 and 3-6. Preschool education usually starts in August. Pre-school education is given four or five days a week.

Basic education and schools

The town of Äänekoski has five basic education elementary schools and two unified schools. We invest especially in entrepreneurship education from pre-school to high school, cultural education and the teaching of well-being skills. Riihimäki general upper secondary school

At Äänekoski high school, we learn the basics of life and prepare for further studies and the future working life. In a high school of about 300 students, we know each other and the atmosphere is safe and confidential. The 90-year-old high school has long traditions, but the high school building is new and modern. At Äänekoski high school, we study, gain insight, gather inspiration and have fun together. Vocational and other education

In the Äänekoski area, you can receive instruction in several different fields of study at the Northern Central Finland Vocational College. Open higher education is offered by Jyväskylä Open University. In addition, basic art education is given at Ala-Keitele's music college.
