The management of the welfare region of Central Finland visited Äänekoski
"Äänekoski has a dynamic organization and a fun atmosphere"

Director of the welfare region of Central Finland Jan Tollet and special assistant Erkki Nikkilä visited Äänekoski on 16.8.2023 August XNUMX as part of the municipal tour of the welfare area. The meeting highlighted the good and open cooperation between the welfare area and the city of Äänekoski. Cooperation and smooth communication must be further developed.
The management of the welfare area held a hearing for Äänekoski's health and social services companies, met with the city's trustees and office holders, and got to know the new Eerola Service Center in Kuhnamo's beach scenery, as well as Äänekoski's health center and staff.
During the municipal tour, the welfare area shared current news, such as the guidelines of the future government program and adaptation measures for the coming years. During the municipal tour, the management of the welfare area also collects feedback from the municipalities, which is valuable when developing operations.
Jan Tollet admired not only the wonderful facilities of Äänekoski health center and Eerolanranta, but also especially how dynamic the organization and personnel are in Äänekoski's health services.
- When you saw the dynamism in that group, wow! It was a good feeling that we have such a group in the welfare region of Central Finland, Tollet stated.
The welfare area received a "good legacy" from Äänekoski: we have long had a good reputation as a provider of health and social services and, for example, it has been easy to recruit staff. Äänekoski also has a vision of how things can be developed.
