The fuel shortage caused by the strike may interrupt part of the bus service
Koiviston Auto Jyväskylä Oy has announced that their fuel supplier is unable to supply them with fuel due to the Oil Products Industry strike. The strikes are still going on and according to current information, Koiviston Auto will be able to operate at least over Easter.
In Äänekoski, the situation may affect, for example, workplace traffic and student transportation in the area. According to Koivisto Auto Jyväskylä Oy, the agreed Order runs are being managed.
It is worth checking the up-to-date bus schedules From Matkahuolto's website. At least Koivuranta operates normally from Äänekoski.
The city of Äänekoski has sent a Wilma message about student transport to students' guardians. Transportation managed by Koivisto Auto may partially stop at Suolahti and Koulunmäki unified schools and completely at Hietama school. If the guardians cannot arrange transportation for their child to school, students have the option of home study. The service interruption of Koivisto Auto does not affect the transportation of Konginkankaa school, Sumiainte school, Koivisto school, or Honkola school.
