According to the new flag-flying plan, in addition to the official and established flag-flying days, the city of Äänekoski will fly the flag on the national day of the Roma on April 8, on the day of the regional elections and on the day of the referendum held in the welfare region of Central Finland or in the city of Äänekoski, and on the day of the Pride event for sexual and gender minorities held in Äänekoski.
