This year's procurement calendar for the city of Äänekoski has been published
Äänekoski city the 2023 procurement or bidding calendar has been published. The calendar lists the plans for this year's known, tendered procurements.
The city of Äänekoski organizes a tender for its most significant purchases in euro terms. This year's purchases are currently listed in the calendar at 81, while in recent years the numbers have been around 60 per year. The increase in the number of competitions is especially related to the construction of the new C part of Koulunmäki Unified School.
The city of Äänekoski makes purchases by planning well in advance. Competitions are planned in the calendar as a guideline with an accuracy of about one month. The procurement calendar is updated a few times a year, and this year there may be even more tendered procurements.
Transparency and planning enable companies in the region to prepare for upcoming tenders. The city of Äänekoski hopes that local companies will actively participate in tenders and submit their information to the city's business information register. Through this, companies indicate that they want to receive requests for tenders regarding small procurements in their e-mail.
In addition to tenders in the procurement calendar, the city annually conducts lightened tenders within framework agreements and purchases below the small procurement threshold, which do not require compliance with the tendering procedure.
