Applying for the serial number needed for a right-of-occupancy apartment will change:
The old sequence numbers expire
Applying for a right-of-occupancy apartment is changing. With the new Housing Rights Act, the serial number is no longer applied for from your own city/municipality, but from the Housing Finance and Development Center (ARA).
Old serial number
The city will issue serial numbers for just under a year, Until 31.8.2023 December XNUMX. These serial numbers can be used locally to apply for a right-of-occupancy apartment Until 31.12.2023 December XNUMX, after which they expire.
New sequence number from ARA
From 1.9.2023 new serial numbers are requested from ARA. With the new serial number, you can apply for a right-of-occupancy apartment nationwide in all the municipalities where there are apartments. The number costs EUR 9,20 and is valid for two years.
From 1.1.2024 you can only apply for an apartment with ARA's order number.
Submit the apartment application and information about the serial number to the housing rights association whose apartments you are interested in. You can get more information about housing right communities on the city's website and service advice.
