"The humblest thanks for the unsolicited work for the benefit of the townspeople"
LC Äänekoski & Kotakennas donated 13 euros to the family center to support children's and youth's hobby activities
At its 50th anniversary, Lions Club Äänekoski & Kotakennas donated 13 euros to Äänekoski's Perhekeskus Kerkä to support recreational activities for children and young people. The donation was received by the mayor Matti Tuononen and family center coordinator Petri Oinonen.
- The humblest thanks for your selfless activity for the benefit of the townspeople. There are certainly enthusiasts in Äänekoski who need the money, says Matti Tuononen.

- This generous donation will bring joy and help to many and for a long time. Many children and young people from Aunekoski can take part in the donation. Families in need of support have the opportunity to apply for financial support for children's and young people's hobbies from the family center, says Petri Oinonen.
At the party, a total of 17 euros were distributed to support the hobby activities of needy families with children. Some of the donations were allocated to seven organizations and communities, and the largest pot to the family center of Äänekoski city, which distributes support to children and young people who need it.
The father of the donation idea is the Lions Club Pekka Häyhä. The club's president was the speaker at the party Hannu Tohola, city manager Matti Tuononen and the district governor Markku Kauppinen. A young person was responsible for the music Veeti Tarvainen with accordions.
Lions Club Äänekoski and Kotakennas have previously donated to the city of Äänekoski, among other things, scholarships for school and high school students, scooters for Huuha, an electric piano for the health center, and a geriatric and standard wheelchair for the Piilola senior center.
