Pet owners must ensure that the animal is not at large or can access children's playgrounds
The city of Äänekoski wants to remind pet owners of the Public Order Act (June 27.6.2003, 612/14, § XNUMX), according to which the owner of the animal must ensure that, for example, cats do not enter the area designated as a children's playground.
If necessary, the found animal operator of Äänekoski city can capture the animal by baiting it. According to the Animal Protection Act (247/1996, § 15), the municipality must take care of organizing the temporary care of dogs and cats found loose and recovered in their territory.
Found animal services for the city of Äänekoski are produced by Elämänlanga farm / Sanna Ohvo. All contacts related to found animals and found animal services should be made directly to the company.
