The non-working hours of the nurses' chat services will be extended from February 12.2.2024, XNUMX
The welfare area of Central Finland informs: The non-working hours of the nurses' chat services will be extended in the welfare area of Central Finland. The new opening hours will serve the residents of the Central Finland welfare area from 12.2.2024 February 8 on weekdays from 20 am to 10 pm and on weekends and public holidays from 16 am to XNUMX pm.
Chat services do not apply to municipalities Kinnula and Jämsä that have outsourced their health services. Kinnula's services are provided by Terveystalo and Jämsä Pihlajalinna.
You can access the chat conversation through the omaks.fi service. Through the chat, the professional can take a stand and assess whether the symptom or problem you mentioned needs treatment or treatment guidance, for example, booking an appointment with a doctor or other healthcare professional. The nurse also has the opportunity to contact the doctor during the chat conversation, so you can get the help you need already during the chat connection. The chat service is free for everyone.
If the customer is booked a normal reception time for a professional in the chat service, customers over 18 will be charged a fee according to the customer fee price list. If, for example, a video consultation appointment with a doctor or therapist is reserved for the customer, the fee is half of the fees according to the customer fee price list.
Contact via the chat service is faster than by phone
The nurses' chat service serves the residents of the Central Finland welfare area, just like the telephone service of the health centers. Connecting to the chat is faster than doing business via the phone service. In addition, you can also connect to the chat service in the evenings, weekends and public holidays.
You can start a chat conversation with a chatbot or directly with a professional. The conversation always starts anonymously, but when the conversation leads to therapeutic measures, either bank or mobile identification is required for the service. You can also identify yourself using a certificate card.
In the chat, communication with the customer takes place by writing and, if necessary, video cameras can also be opened, allowing the professional to have voice and visual contact with the customer. Various written instructions, instructional videos and photos can be sent via chat.
