Funding for Äänekoski to support cultural activities in the sparsely populated rural areas of Taiken

The arts promotion center Taike finances 66 projects in sparsely populated rural areas across Finland. A diverse group of community art, music, theater and participatory workshop activities can be included. Äänekoski's cultural activity Ovi auki taiteelle project was awarded 26 euros in the application.
Thanks to the funding, an artist residency activity related to care services will be developed in Konginkanga in cooperation with the welfare region of Central Finland. Konginkankaa is hiring a community artist who has a workspace in Konginkankaa's service building.
The artist's main stakeholder group is the residents and employees of the Konginkanka service center, but other residents of the area can also participate in the activity. The project will be implemented between January 1.1 and June 30.6.2024, XNUMX.
The artist for the project will be selected during the fall of 2023. The genre is not limited.
